On the trip back from the Teen Agers tour where the "Hang In Germany" demo was recorded, Nick Noble and I realized our connecting flight in Reykjavik, Iceland wasn't two hours as we had planned. It was twenty-six hours. My bad. So we scrambled to find a hostel and do what we could to enjoy an unexpected day in Iceland. The weather that day was dreary, our hostel was an hour walk from any real civilization and we were broke and exhausted from three weeks of touring in Europe. Needless to say, we didn't enjoy it so much. This song popped into my head, nearly chord for chord and word for word on one of our hour long walks between the city center and our hostel (which we did four times in twenty some hours). When I got home I recorded this demo myself. The band did learn it and we played it at the only shows we ever played. Pre-Fest at Will's Pub in Orlando + High Dive in Gainesville and at Durty Nelly's at Fest 14.
